PLAYING FROM 2019/20 FOR THE MALC BROADFIELD MEMORIAL TROPHY The top TWO players in Division One, Division Two, Division Three and Division Four will compete in this season's Merits Finals. Players are ranked by singles frame wins only, if tied at the end of the season for any of the top TWO places, a count-back will decide. Format for Quarter-finals: QF1 - Div One 1st v. Div Four 2nd QF2 - Div One 2nd v. Div Four 1st QF3 - Div Two 1st v. Div Three 2nd QF4 - Div Two 2nd v. Div Three 1st Semi-finals: SF1 - QF1 winner v. QF4 winner SF2 - QF2 winner v. QF3 winner FINAL - SF1 winner v. SF2 winner Quarters and semis are the best of five frames and the final will be the best of seven. Each Divisional Merits winner now gets a framed certificate. PLEASE NOTE: Players not taking up their place in a finals night without letting the League know, may be banned from future events. |
